Join our choir

St John’s has a long and proud choral tradition which we are delighted to continue at our 9.30am service. We always have room for more choristers, either as regular singers or to join our augmented choir for special services.

Since 2014, we have sung mass settings by Haydn, Mozart and Byrd on many major feast days. We also sing full choral evensong approximately four times a year, as well as performing choral services on Palm Sunday and at Christmas.

Choir practice takes place on Friday evenings @ 7.30pm and then half an hour before the 9:30am service on Sunday.

If you would like to know more, please contact the Parish Office and ask to get in touch with Virgil, our Director of Music.
