Tree of Hope

Tree of Hope

Tree of Hope is our mental health community group, which meets 5.00pm - 6.00pm every week on a Thursday evening at St Johns on the Broadway.

We are a community of people who have experience of mental health challenges, or who support those who have mental health challenges. As a community we meet each week to share a meal, chat, and encourage one another. Our meetings are very informal and always great fun – they are places we can come together to simply be who we are, with others whose experiences have been like our own. Members are free to come to meetings as much or as little as they find helpful, and to share as much or as little as they would like, in a safe and supportive environment. As well as enjoying a simple meal each week, we try to make a point of having some bigger celebrations as a community through the year, including a big Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!

If you or someone you know would like to give Tree of Hope a try, please do either get in touch with one of the clergy team, or simply pop along to St. Johns on the Broadway, one Thursday afternoon. You can be sure of a warm welcome, and a space to be loved and accepted, just as you are.
